WORKING VISIT BY DR. MRS. OLAYINKA KOMOLAFE, SECRETARY TO THE AGENCY, TO AERONAUTICS AND AIR VEHICLE DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE, KADUNA

On Friday, 20th June 2025, the Aeronautics and Air Vehicle Development Institute, Kaduna, was honored to host a working visit by Dr. Mrs. Olayinka Komolafe, Secretary to the Agency (STA) of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), accompanied by Mrs. Yetunde E. Ajayi, the Acting Director of Administration. The visit, conducted under the directives of the Executive Vice Chairman (EVC), underscored NASENI’s commitment to advancing the institute’s mission in Aeronautics and Air Vehicle Development. The delegation’s presence highlighted the Agency’s focus on fostering innovation and infrastructural growth within its institutes.

During the visit, Dr. Mrs. Komolafe and Mrs. Ajayi toured the newly established NASCAV office, inspecting the state-of-the-art facilities designed to support cutting-edge research and development. The delegation also visited the institute’s temporary office, engaging with staff and assessing ongoing operations. The inspection provided an opportunity to evaluate the progress of infrastructural projects and reaffirm NASENI’s support for the institute’s strategic objectives. Dr. Komolafe expressed satisfaction with the developments and commended the team’s efforts in maintaining high standards.

In a heartfelt address to the staff, Dr. Mrs. Komolafe conveyed a message of appreciation and encouragement, emphasizing that the institute’s workforce is not forgotten and that every member’s contribution is valued. She reassured the team of NASENI’s unwavering commitment to their welfare and professional growth, stating, “You all matter, and your dedication drives our collective success.” Her words resonated deeply, boosting morale and reinforcing the sense of purpose among the staff.

The STA also extended special recognition to the Project Manager for efficiently overseeing the institute’s operations and ensuring seamless project execution. Dr. Komolafe graciously offered her deep appreciation for the warm and enthusiastic reception accorded to the delegation, describing it as a testament to the institute’s unity and hospitality. The visit concluded on a high note, with renewed optimism for the institute’s role in advancing Nigeria’s aerospace ambitions under NASENI’s visionary leadership.
