In order to promote the culture of research, science, technology and innovation and their applications for economic development, the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) and Synergy for Technology Impact (SYNTECH) today in Abuja arrived at a decision to work together.
NASENI’ s mandate is specifically in the area of capital goods research, production and reverse engineering with its mission to create an enabling knowledge-driven environment for local mass production of standard parts, goods and services required for the nation’s technology advancement. SYNTECH amongst others has the objectives of generating ideas and working out ways on how to engage relevant agencies of government and people to make indigenous technologies count for Nigerians and the country at large.
