The stage is set for a 5-Day training on “Mastering the Intricacies of New Media and Protocol Strategies for Modern Government Agency in the 21st Centuries.” for NASENI System-wide Information, Protocol and New Media Officers. This is one of the promises of the Executive Vice Chairman/Chief Executive of the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu to reposition the Agency in delivering its mandate of promoting Home-grown Technologies. The training which is first of its kind in the history of the Agency, is bringing together all Information and Protocol Officers from the Institutes and Headquarters to learn New Media and AI- driven technologies and Protocol Strategies that will effectively market and promote NASENI products. The EVC/CEO of NASENI since assumption of office in September 2023 has committed to building a 21st-century institution founded on and driven by the core principles of Collaboration, Creation and Commercialization. This training is to immerse the participants with relevant new global skills, knowledge and acumen needed to perform their day-to-day duties at both the Headquarters and the Institutes. The Planning Committee was at the venue of the training to inspect the facilities and ensure that no stone was left unturned for the training which will run from Monday 8th-12th Friday, January 2024 at Exclusive Serene Hotel, Wuye, Abuja.
