NASENI Exhibits State-of -the -Art Renewable Energy Products at NREIF 2025

The Nigeria First Policy of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s administration was prominently advanced yesterday at the Nigeria Renewable Energy Innovation Forum (NREIF) 2025.

This forum, powered by the Rural Electrification Agency (REA) and co-organized with the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI), gathered professionals from diverse sectors at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel, Abuja.

The Vice President Kashim Shettima GCON who declared the two-day event opened, said, “This inaugural renewable energy forum 2025, the first of its kind in our country, brings together visionaries, policy makers, entrepreneurs, and investors to rethink and define opportunities for Nigeria’s energy transition.

“This is an invitation to establish Nigeria as a hub for renewable energy in Africa.” The VP further stated that Nigeria’s energy transition presents an investment opportunity of over $410 billion between now and 2060.

The Executive Vice Chairman/CEO of NASENI, Mr. Khalil Suleiman Halilu, was represented at the Forum by his Special Adviser on Renewable Energy, Mr Suyud Abdullahi Muhammed. The EVC/CEO addressed the forum virtually.

The Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, in his address, said the NREIF 2025 is not just another event, but a declaration that Nigeria is ready to lead Africa’s renewable energy transformation.

He added that under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu, the Ministry of Power has worked tirelessly to translate ambition into policy and policy into action. He further stated that the next generation of clean energy technologies, ranging from solar panels to battery systems, will bear the label “Made in Nigeria.”

Adelabu, who led other dignitaries to the NASENI stand, was conducted round the NASENI renewable products on display, such as NASENI Streetlights, NASENI solar home systems, NASENI solar Panels, NASENI Power stove T200, T500, X200, NASENI Portable Solar General, and the newly NEC-endorsed NASENI Solar Irrigation System, among others.

The Minister expressed his satisfaction to Mr Suyud Muhmmed, who conducted the Minister and his team round the NASENI Exhibition stand.

Participants, investors, and entrepreneurs continued to visit the NASENI exhibition stand, showing strong interest in collaborations and inquiries about the showcased products. The Technology Business Department (TBD) team, led by Mr. Abaver Edward, was fully engaged in addressing the volume of questions from visitors.
